Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha may receive rainfall from December 3 under the influence of a forecasted cyclonic storm over the Bay of Bengal, which is likely to make landfall between Chennai and Machilipatnam around evening of 4th December, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

December 3: Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, at one or two places over the rest districts of coastal Odisha, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
December 4: Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Puri, at a few places over the rest districts of coastal Odisha, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Boudh, and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam (Yellow Warning).
December 5: Light to moderate rain/ thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of south coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur and at many places over the rest districts of Odisha.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam (Orange Warning).
Heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khordha, and Puri (Yellow Warning).
