Rourkela: PLFI Area Commander Nelson Gudia, associate arrested

Rourkela: In a major breakthrough, the Rourkela police have arrested People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) Area Commander Nelson Gudia and one of his associates.

As many as two pistols and live bullets have been recovered from their possession.

Acting on a tip-off about the presence of Nelson, a special team of Rourkela police had yesterday raided a place under Bisra police limits and apprehended him.

They had allegedly carried out criminal activities on Odisha-Jharkhand border in areas of Bisra, Jareikela and Bhalulata.

Several cases including those of extortion and attempt to murder are pending against the duo.

Further probe by police was underway.
