Tanker carrying hydrochloric acid overturns on NH in Odisha’s Koraput; leakage occurs

Koraput: A tanker truck carrying hydrochloric acid overturned on NH-26 near Telerai in Pottangi ghat of Odisha’s Koraput district, today.

The accident was followed by leakage of the acid from the vehicle.

On being informed, Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot while efforts were on to stop the leakage and restore the position of the truck.

The road was blocked for vehicular movement to avoid any possible untoward incident.

Pottangi police have started investigation into the matter.
