Two killed as SUV falls off bridge in Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: In a tragic incident, two persons lost their lives while ten others were injured as an SUV in which they were travelling fell off an under-construction bridge at Jhankarpada in Odisha’s Sambalpur district, today.

As per reports, the ill-fated vehicle was heading towards Puri from Chhattisgarh, when the driver accidentally drove onto the under-construction bridge.

The injured passengers were rescued and rushed to VIMSAR in Burla for treatment.

The identities of the deceased were yet to be established.

Local police have launched an investigation into the incident.
