Atal Incubation Centre (AIC)-NITF celebrates Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav

Bhubaneswar: Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation (NITF) and AIC-NITF celebrated Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav by distributing national flag to the students and staff and hoisting the tri color on Independence Day. Several cultural programs were also staged to promote patriotism.

Dr Tapan Chand, the chief guest of the occasion, hoisted the national flag. In his address to the engineering students, start-ups and staff, he talked about the emerging opportunities in the wake of Industry 4.0.

We are on the threshold of fourth industrial revolution driven by artificial intelligence, robotics, AR & VR, IOT, cloud management & design thinking etc.. This phase will bring disruptive change. Jobs will be created and jobs will be destroyed. New opportunities will emerge for which students should acquire the required skill, told Dr T K Chand.

He also called upon students to be innovative entrepreneurs. In this context he complimented AIC-NITF for its excellent eco system. The gathering was also addressed by Principal of NITF and other dignitaries. Later, Dr Chand inaugurated park cum open Gym in the campus of NITF. Dr Chand and other dignitaries planted saplings in the park and visited Atal Incubation Centre Vice Chairman of NITF Malay Padhi and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Durga Prasad Gouda accompanied him.
