Bikram Keshari Arukha files nomination for Odisha Assembly Speaker post

Bhubaneswar: BJD’s Bhanjanagar MLA Bikram Keshari Arukha today filed nomination for the post of Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.

He submitted the nomination papers before Dasharathi Satapathy, Secretary of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.

Election to the post of Odisha Legislative Assembly Speaker will be held on June 13.

For this purpose, a meeting of the House will be held on June 13 at 10.30 a.m. in the Assembly Hall. Satpathy has requested all MLAs to attend the meeting.

The post fell vacant after the resignation of Surjya Narayan Patro over health-related issues.
