Coal-laden truck catches fire in Odisha’s Sundargarh

Hemgir: In a major mishap, a coal-laden truck caught fire while coming towards Sundargarh district in Odisha here today. The incident took place at Kundra ghat near Duduka in Hemgir block. Sources said the multi-axle truck had loaded coal from MCL and was headed towards Sundargarh when it suddenly went up in flames. Though the  driver and helper managed to escape, the vehicle was gutted. The fire services personnel, on getting information reached the spot immediately but the vehicle was almost reduced to ashes by then. No casualty has been reported.
