Bhubaneswar: As many as 58 new infections due to COVID-19 were reported in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 3,36,636.
Of fresh COVID cases, 34 are quarantine cases and 24 are local contacts, informed the State Information & Public Relations Department today.
While Sambalpur and Sundargarh districts registered the highest of 8 new cases each followed by Mayurbhanj and Balangir districts (5) each, Cuttack and Jajpur districts have 8 more infectees in the last 24 hours.

With the new COVID-19 cases, the number of active cases increased to 616. Meanwhile, total 3,34,053 patients have recovered so far in Odisha.
