Daily COVID-19 cases drop in Odisha with 339 infections

Bhubaneswar: Daily COVID-19 cases further dropped in Odisha with 339 new infections in last 24 hours, informed the State Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department today.

Of new positive cases, 69 were children belonging to 0-18 years of age group, 199 infections were reported from different quarantine centres and 140 were the local contacts.

Sundargarh district remained in top in terms of single-day COVID cases with 80 followed by Khordha district with 36 new cases.

With this, the COVID tally rose to 12,83,978, of which 3,862 are active so far in the State.
