Darshan at Puri Jagannath Temple to remain closed for 4 hrs tomorrow

Puri: There will be no darshan at the Jagannath Temple in Puri for four hours tomorrow to conduct the Banakalagi ritual of deities.

The Banakalagi Niti of Lord Jagannath will be held on the 7th day of Krushna Paksha in Pousha month on Wednesday, January 3. Therefore, the darshan at the temple will remain closed for four hours from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM after the end of the second Bhogamandap ritual, informed the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).

Meanwhile, Shree Jagannath Heritage Corridor project is underway. The much-awaited project will be dedicated to the devotees on January 17, 2024.
