Odisha extends COVID vaccine global tender deadline by 7 days

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today extended the last date for its global tender for procurement of COVID vaccines by seven days.

The last date for online bid submission is 10 AM of June 4  whereas the online technical bid will open at 11.30 AM of June 4. The price bid will be open at 5 PM of the same day.

“The deadline was extended in view of requests from many prospective vendors, cyclones and also for greater participation,” informed an official statement.

Earlier on May 15, Odisha State Medical Corporation (OSMC) opened online bid for global vaccine manufactures through e-tender portal for supply of 3.80 crore COVID-19 vaccines. The decision was taken in a bid to increase the vaccination drive in the state.
