Odisha reports 1,193 COVID-19 cases, 60 deaths; district-wise details here

Bhubaneswar: With detection of 1,193 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, Odisha’s total caseload today surged to surged to 9,92,375.

As total 71,197 samples were tested in the state yesterday, the Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.67%.

Of the fresh cases detected from 28 districts, 695 are quarantines cases and 498 local contact cases. Khordha district reported highest 425 fresh cases, followed by Cuttack (161) and Balasore (69).

The state now has 10,809 active cases.

Meanwhile, the state reported 60 death cases taking the toll to 6,757. The casualties cases were reported from Angul (5) Balasore (2), Bargarh (13), Bhadrak (1), Balangir (6), Cuttack (11), Deogarh (4), Dhenkanal (3), Jagatsinghpur (5), Jajpur (3), Jharsuguda (2) and Sambalpur (5).
