OPD services at AIIMS Bhubaneswar to resume from February 7

Bhubaneswar: Out Patient Department (OPD) services at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here will resume from February 7.

The services were closed in view of the sharp rise in COVID-19 cases in Odisha.

“All departments of AIIMS Bhubaneswar will follow the OPD schedule as before (as per data available on the official website). Every department reserves 4-5 beds in each ward for the new admission cases (suspect),” the premier healthcare institution said in a release.

Overall routine check-ups of patients will continue through the ‘AIIMS Bhubaneswar Swasthya’ app and telemedicine, the release said.

All IPD admissions and OTs will function as before (pre-COVID era). The COVID labour room will continue to run for a week, it added.
