Two kids drown in well in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, two kids drowned in a pond at Natakata village under Bhapur police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

The deceased were identified as Ranjit Pradhan (5) and Sanjit Pradhan (4), two brothers.

According to reports, the parents of the two children had yesterday gone to farmland for paddy harvesting. On returning home, the couple found the kids missing.

Though the villagers and local police searched for the children at various places, but in vain.

Locals found the bodies of the two kids floating in the well, this morning. Later, the bodies were recovered.

A pall of gloom descended on the village after the death of the two.
