Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely in these Odisha districts during next 2 days

Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over several districts of Odisha during the next 48 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall at a few places over the districts of South Interior Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places, below normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, appreciably above normal at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, above normal at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

Temperature forecast: No large change in the minimum (night) temperature during next 4 to 5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha.

The highest maximum temperature of 33.6°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 11.0°C was recorded at Sundargarh and Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha.

Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Puri, Khurda, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of South Odisha.

Yellow Warning (Be Updated)- Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khurda and Puri.
