638 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a spike of 638 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours . With the fresh cases, the state’s total count rose to to 3,13,961.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 29 districts, 373 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 265 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 70 fresh cases followed by Mayurbhanj (65) and Jagatsinghpur (50).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 7,360. Besides, 3,04, 908 persons have so far recovered from the disease so far.
