Allu Arjun calls Arya ‘greatest miracle’ as movie turns 17

Bhubaneswar: Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Telugu film Arya completed 17 years today. Turning nostalgic on the occasion, the actor shared on social media a heartfelt note on how the film became a life changing experience for him.

Allu Arjun today took to Twitter and shared a poster of his movie Arya. The poster was accompanied by a note that read, “It’s 17 years of Arya today.  It is the single most life changing experience of my life. It’s still the greatest miracle in my life. LOVE from the audience started showering on me after I said those golden words. “Feel my Love.”

Arya was also Sukumar Bandreddi’s directorial debut. Produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, Arya was released in 2004. The movie had its music composed by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by R. Rathnavelu. Arya also featured Anu Mehta and Siva Balaji in lead roles. The movie was dubbed and released in Malayalam with the same title.

Following box-office success, Arya was later remade in several other languages- Tamil (Kutty), Bengali (Badha), Odia (Pagala Premi), Sinhala (Adaraye Namayen).

After years, Allu Arjun and Sukumar have once again teamed up for an upcoming Pan-India film titled, “Pushpa”. Actress Rashmika Mandanna will be portraying the female protagonist in the movie.
