Doorstep COVID-19 vaccination launched in Odisha’s Rourkela; Check details

Rourkela: Doorstep COVID-19 vaccination drive was today launched by the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) in the steel city of Odisha.

The service will be provided only to elderly persons who are bedridden and differently-abled persons in the city. Such citizens need to dial 06612510036 between 10 am to 4 pm for registration, informed ADM, Rourkela.

The requirement shall be verified by doctors while the service will be provided as per schedule and division of area, the official added.

Sanjeevani Ratha vehicles will be used for doorstep COVID-19 vaccination in Rourkela.

The Berhampur Municipal Corporation has also launched ‘Vaccination at Doorstep’ initiative to administer COVID-19 vaccine to elderly persons who are above 70 years of age and those who are not able to walk or bedridden.
