Bhubaneswar: Days after mysterious and unexplained deaths of newborn babies created panic in Odisha’s Koraput district, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has directed the Odisha Government to submit a report on actions taken in this regard. The NHRC’s response comes in wake of a petition filed by human rights activist Akhanda who brought to notice the infants’ death cases in Katharagada panchayat of Borrigumma block of Koraput this month.
