Odisha weather update: Heavy rainfall likely to lash these districts today

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall today due to the well-marked low pressure area over Bay of Bengal. The system is likely to intensify into a depression today and further into a deep depression during the subsequent 24 hours, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balasore, it said and issued Orange Warning for the districts.

Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Khurda, Cuttack, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal, the agency said and issued Yellow Warning for the districts.
