Thunderstorm likely in 5 more Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm warning has been issued for five more districts of Odisha today.

The Regional Meteorological Department have predicted moderate thunderstorm and lightning Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Koraput, Sambalpur and Sundergarh.

These areas in the western part of the state will also get respite from the heatwave as light rainfall and wind gusting at 40 kmph is also likely as per the latest weather bulletin.

Such conditions are likely to prevail between 11:30 am and 3:30 pm today.

Similarly, these weather conditions were also forecast for Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Rayagada earlier today.
