Varsha files case against husband Anubhav at Cuttack SDJM Court

Cuttack: In a fresh development in the ongoing marital discord between actress Varsha Priyadarshini and her husband and actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty, she has filed a complaint case against him at the Court of SDJM, Cuttack.

The case has been registered under Sections 506, 509, 501 of the IPC and Section 67 of the IT Act.

The SDJM Court had recently directed Varsha to vacate Anubhav’s parental house in Cuttack city.

The court stated that Varsha has to leave Anubhav’s house within two months after receiving Rs 30,000 as compensation from the actor. It further directed Anubhav to pay the compensation amount to Varsha within 10th of every month.

While hearing another case of divorce between Anubhav and Varsha, the Orissa High Court had ordered him to refrain from making any video/ comment against his wife. It also passed a directive to Varsha to stay away from making any comment on the issue before any media, including social media.

Varsha had earlier filed a complaint against Anubhav at the Purighat police station in Cuttack. Varsha in her complaint accused Mohanty of posting videos on social media and creating fabricated stories about her. She further said the parliamentarian in the video provided false information on her, thereby tarnishing her image.
