Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported as many as 593 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours while four more persons succumbed to the virus as the toll mounted to 8227.
Khurda district registered highest 290 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (84) and Mayurbhanj (27).
With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state rose to 1029412 with 4967 active cases.
